30 years from now, making meaningful contributions to society

On April 1, 2022, Solasto adopted a new corporate philosophy.

Since our founding in 1965 as Japan's first institution for medical administration education, we have continuously expanded business operations, from the Medical Outsourcing Business, including services such as reception and accounting services for medical institutions, to the Elderly Care and Child Care domains.
In June 2021, we launched the new Smart Hospital business for promoting digital transformation (DX) for support services at medical institutions. With this launch, we began offering remote medical support services through our medical DX package iisy and will aggressively pursue innovation moving forward.

At the same time, we are seeing dramatic change in the operating environment impacting our business. One thing is clear: companies that are unable to adapt to these changes will not survive.
When I think about Solasto 30 years into the future, I recognize that there are several issues we must address. These include creating new DX-based businesses, reforming existing business, and the ability to continuously provide valuable services that also enable us to help resolve societal issues through our business.

For Solasto to make meaningful contributions to society 30 years from now, the Solasto Group must move forward with every member embracing the same commitment and direction.

Under this new corporate philosophy, Solasto will look beyond the Medical Outsourcing, Elderly Care, Child Care, and Education Businesses by accelerating initiatives that enable us to operate as a game changer that leads businesses in all industries. At the same time, we will continue working to make sustainable improvements in our corporate value and increase satisfaction among our users, customers, employees, and all other stakeholders.

Yoshikazu Fujikawa

Profile of Yoshikazu Fujikawa

Born in 1957, he grew up in Osaka Prefecture. He formerly held executive positions at McDonald's Japan and Lotteria Co., Ltd.
After serving as President and Representative Director, CEO of Burger King Japan Co., Ltd., he joined Solasto with the position of Senior Managing Officer and Executive General Manager of Elderly Care Business Division in February 2014.
He assumed the positions of Director, Senior Managing Officer and Director in January 2016, and Executive Vice President and Representative Director in June 2018. He then became President and Representative Director, CEO in April 2019.
